About Blue Banana Restaurant

Blue Banana Restaurant is one of those laid-back Goa spots that instantly pulls you into the coastal vibe the moment you walk in. Located opposite Taj Holiday Village in Dnado, Candolim, this lively Goan restaurant blends casual comfort with a fun dining atmosphere that works equally well for relaxed lunches and late-night meals. The outdoor seating area adds a breezy tropical touch, especially during the evening when the lights, music, and beachside energy around Candolim start coming alive. Inside, the place feels welcoming and unpretentious, making it easy to settle in with friends, family, or even a solo craving for authentic local cuisine.

The menu at Blue Banana Restaurant leans heavily into flavorful Goan cooking while also offering a mix of comforting dishes that pair perfectly with chilled beer, cocktails, or a glass of wine. Seafood lovers usually find plenty to enjoy here, and the kitchen is known for serving bold spices, rich sauces, and satisfying portions that fit the coastal dining experience Goa is famous for. At the same time, lighter bites and small plates make it a good stop for people who simply want a quick bite with coffee or drinks after exploring Candolim.

Another thing that makes the restaurant appealing is its flexible dining setup. Whether someone prefers a relaxed dine-in experience, takeaway for a beach evening, or outdoor seating under the Goa sky, the restaurant keeps things convenient without losing its local charm. The staff often maintain a friendly and easygoing attitude, which adds to the overall comfort of the place. Between the lively surroundings, flavorful cuisine, and casual Goan hospitality, the atmosphere here feels naturally suited for long conversations, shared plates, and slow evenings filled with food and drinks.

This was our first visit. Lovely little Indian restaurant, basic menu but plenty choose from. Tony is a good host, very friendly and helpful with explaining dishes/tastes. Food and drinks were all reasonably priced. We enjoyed everything we ordered and will definitely be back for more

Was Roaming Goa for good tasty and budget friendly food and we stumbled across Blue Banana. The place was packed with foreigners, and we ordered Prawn and Squid Batter fry and Goan Sausages which were absolutely delicious! They were generous about the portion size as well and definitely worth every penny. Would definitely come again
